THE LM RODLESS LINEAR ACTUATOR DESIGN FEATURES:

RACO’s LM-Series (Linear Module) are lightweight and robust-positioning systems. They can be easily configured into a wide variety of single and multi-axis motion-control applications.

Possible configurations include: single axis driven (or idler), a parallel linked single axis , X-Y axis system and/ or X-Y-Z axis systems. The LM is engineered for carriage speeds up to 200 inches per second with a single module load capacity of 800 lbs. and a stroke range of approximately 20 feet with a single extrusion. A high strength steel cord reinforced polyurethane belt and shock absorbing elastomer tires on ball bearing wheels allow for normal loads up to 800 lbs. and side loads of 400 lbs.
Cogged belt & pulleys are machined to be 0 degree backlash which can yield a repeatability of +/- 0.003"
